2018年名人堂电感:Kengo Kuma
"Renowned for merging architecture with nature and social responsibility, Kengo Kuma has become one of the most influential architects of our day...and the most prolific: having completed over 300 projects (but he modestly compares himself to wanting to reach Frank Lloyd Wright’s record of 800!). His immense portfolio of work shares a deep commitment to sustainability and creating new architecture with everyday materials...i.e., concrete walls that create transparency, allowing light to shine through; green walls that don’t just hug the building, but become it, so all things breathe. I am honored to induct him into Interior Design’s Hall of Fame on November 29th, 2018."
